The Department of Management and Information Systems at the School of Business Administration, Wayne State University, invites applications for full-time study in our Ph.D. in Business program with specializations in Organizational Behavior or Strategy beginning in Fall 2010. All applications received prior to April 1, 2010 will receive full consideration for admission to the Ph.D. program.  Assistantship, fellowship, and scholarship opportunities are available to Ph.D. students. The objective of the Ph.D. in Business program within the Management area is to prepare students for academic faculty positions at domestic and international research universities. The program is research-based and focuses on quantitative skills and global perspectives – enabling students to engage in research projects with internationally-renowned faculty early in the doctoral program.  

The Management and Information Systems Department also hosts the internationally-recognized Center for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA), which hosts webcasts and short courses at Wayne State University by nationally recognized scholars.
