Topic: The State of the Profession: I/O Psychology

About the Luncheon:  Dr. Lois Tetrick will talk with PTC/MW members
about the state of I/O Psychology - both from our current vantage point
and as we move into the future. This lunch discussion will be more
interactive in nature as we bounce ideas about how our profession can
continue to gain relevance within the context of Strategic HR and
Business Management.

About the Presenter: Dr. Lois Tetrick is Director of the
Industrial-Organizational Psychology Program at George Mason University
(Fairfax, VA). She is the President Elect for the Society for Industrial
and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and is an elected member of the
American Psychological Association (APA) Board of Scientific Affairs.
She served as a representative of SIOP on the American Psychological
Association Council of Representation and as Past-Chair of the Human
Resources Division of the Academy of Management. Dr. Tetrick is a fellow
of SIOP, the APA, and the American Psychological Society (APS). Dr.
Tetrick has served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied
Psychology and is currently Editor of Journal of Occupational Health
Psychology.
