Bolster your resume by passing the PHR certification exam!
12 months preceding or following your graduation (undergraduate or graduate), you are eligible to sit for the PHR exam. Not only does sitting for the exam as a student help you secure a FT job in HR, but you receive a discounted test-taking fee of $120 and are eligible for $100 from CHRA’s College Relations program if you are an eligible CHRA student member who passes the exam.
In order to assist you toward this important career preparation step, we are pleased to announce that CHRA’s Professional Certification committee is sponsoring a Spring PHR prep class specifically for students, held on the UB campus on Saturday mornings from 3/17 – 4/28. Class costs are heavily subsidized by CHRA, only $100 for eligible participants, and only $75 for registered CHRA student members.
This class will prepare you for the 5/1/06 – 6/30/07 PHR testing window. The registration deadline for the class is 3/3/06. This Fall’s class filled up with 19 students! You may register immediately, using the attached form, which you should read carefully.
For a no-cost certification handbook about the PHR exam, please contact HRCI at 1-800-283-7476 or www.hrci.org.
