Manager, Certification
Project Management Institute (PMI) is a professional association for the project management profession and we are acknowledged as a pioneer in the field and our membership represents a truly global community with nearly 220,000 members from over 150 countries. PMI is seeking an experienced individual to plan, develop, direct, and deliver certification products and programs with the primary focus of development and implementation of high quality credentials; directly related to the practice and global advancement of the project management profession. The successful candidate will assure research and positive development of comprehensive programs, products, and services aligned with market needs to progress measurable improvements toward advocacy, customer satisfaction, and market penetration that support organization and operational strategy.
Requirements:
· Masters Degree, Doctorate preferred, related to measurement and assessment.
· 7 years of progressively responsible experience in a management level position with significant credentialing experience.
· Expertise in developing and producing multilingual and multicultural products and services desirable.
· Demonstrated success in cultivating and sustaining relationships with senior management volunteers from diverse geographic and cultural environments/locations.
· Consistent record of successful initiatives to broaden market presence and penetration, and/or influence market progress.
· Strong managerial skills, including the ability to work with individuals in prominent and influential positions across diverse sectors and cultures.
· Able to deal with tight deadlines, limited resources and other potentially stressful situations with a high degree of accuracy with consistent high customer interface and limited time for rework.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills and finesse, including public speaking to small and large groups.
· Successful negotiation of agreements for services or relationships that benefit or align with an organization’s objectives. Ability to develop exit strategies.
· Project management experience preferred
· Ability to use MS Office products and Internet proficiently, with the ability to work remotely using laptop in a dynamic environment while traveling.
· Knowledge, experience and ability to travel domestically and internationally. Must be able to travel up to 30% with trips of up to one week in duration.
