Who Get It: Leadership from the Heart and Soul." Presented by Dr.
Mary-Frances Winters
About the Program
The Winters Group partnered with Diversity Best Practices to write a book about
what was learned from 20 leaders of industry who told their stories with candor
and passion and have provided key insights for other leaders to follow. These
titans lead iconic American businesses that possess instant name recognition
across the globe-Procter & Gamble, Eastman Kodak, Major League Baseball, Wal-Mart,
Sears, Time Warner. They are some of the most powerful people in the world,
shaping our future with breakthrough technologies, innovative retailing
strategies and state-of-the-art investment models. And without exception, each
recognizes diversity as a key driver of business success and consequently they
have intentionally evolved into outstanding stewards of diversity.
The
motivation for this project was an attempt to address an ongoing concern among
diversity practitioners who often cry: "My leaders don't get it." You
don't want to miss this presentation as Dr. Winters will elaborate on what the
20 CEO's "get" and how it can help your organization.
