Over the past several weeks at the Associated, I have been working on updating employee job/position descriptions.  This has consisted mainly of gathering information from various resources (0*Net, previous course textbooks, etc), reviewing current job descriptions to identify important job dimensions, and composing a list of questions to ask during employee and supervisor interviews for the purpose of job verification.  The goal is to obtain the most up-to-date information on tasks, skills/requirements, physical demands, education, experience and other qualifications most relevant to the positions.  The goal is also to standardize the descriptions such that they all conform to the same format, displaying the important information about each position in an organized fashion.  
 
The upcoming weeks will consist of meeting with employees and supervisors to conduct the interviews.
