The Maryland Department of Budget and Management’s Recruitment and Examination Division is seeking talented, innovative and articulate human resources professionals. This position will initiate and coordinate the recruitment and selection efforts for assigned job classifications of various State agencies in accordance with applicable legal and technical guidelines, personnel laws, regulations and standards.  The HR Analyst will function within the Office of Personnel Services and Benefits as a technical expert in recruitment and examination performing exam development and revision functions.  In this role, the incumbent will provide technical assistance to agency personnel officers in recruitment and test development in addition to performing college and other niche outreach.

 

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, as well as three years of professional HR experience in the area of job analysis and/or employee recruitment and selection.  A substitution of qualifying experience for the education may apply.

 

The position is full-time with complete State of Maryland benefits and is based in Baltimore, MD.
