Responsibilities
Research Associates work as part of a research team on one or more projects.
Job responsibilities may include the following: designing and conducting
training course or program evaluations, conducting workforce analyses, planning
and conducting quantitative analyses; organizing and documenting analytical
results and research procedures (e.g., data collection, instrument preparation,
statistical analyses); preparing technical reports and journal articles;
presenting topics to clients and the public; designing and conducting research
projects for federal and private sponsors; and writing or contributing to
competitive proposals for applied social science research. Periodic travel may
be required.
Qualifications
Masters degree or equivalent and experience in a behavioral or social science
research field (e.g., industrial/organizational psychology, sociology,
organizational development, human resources) required.
