If so, the United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM) may be the place for you. OPM currently has one SCEP position available with the Training and Executive Development (TED) group. TED provides support and leadership in the training and development area across the Federal government. The group develops and implements policies, regulations, and related guidance on training and executive development. TED also develops tools, policy frameworks and flexibilities to establish Government-wide systems to support effective leadership development programs for managers and executives. Assignment Description Participants will participate in a wide-range of work experiences that will expose them to different opportunities in the learning and development profession. Assignments may include: * Identifying ways to leverage technology in our future learning environment, e.g. social media tools; * Conducting research on best practices in learning and development programs; * Reviewing informational documents for agency HR Development offices, e.g., fact sheets on new training vehicles; * Assisting in coordinating various agency programs in support of learning and development activities; * Conducting statistical analyses on training data; * Gathering and preparing material for a variety of internal and external audiences; and * Assisting in the organization of various activities with other Federal agencies and offices.
