Job Description:

ICF seeks a Research Assistant to work within the Survey Research and Evaluation Center (SREC) of the Applied Organizational Research (AOR) division. The SREC team assists Federal and commercial clients with research and consulting projects in the survey research and program evaluation areas.  Areas of focus include large scale surveys, data analysis, and program evaluations applied to the areas of military personnel and family issues, substance abuse, justice, and others.


The Research Assistants will contribute to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high quality solutions and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff. This position is located in Fairfax, VA.



Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data collection and analysis and review literature
  • Conduct interviews and surveys
  • Solve quantitative and qualitative problems
  • Interact with federal and commercial clients

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Experience with quantitative research, survey methodology, statistical analysis
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • SPSS, SAS or STATA experience preferred

Professional Skills:

  • Detail-oriented and capable of critically analyzing data outputs, and translating research findings into narrative descriptions & recommendations for action
  • Ability to work in a team environment under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
