UMMC is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for our Baltimore, Maryland location. In this role, you'll consult with customers to develop HR programs, policies and initiatives, develop organizational business plans/strategies, collaborate with staff and leaders to support departmental objectives, act as the point person to problem solve HR issues and help sustain a positive work environment. This is a fast pace, high volume setting best suited for a person with exceptional customer service skills.
Qualifications include:
*Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development (Master's in Business, HR or Organizational Design/Development preferred)
*Certification as a PHR or SPHR
*A minimum of 5 years' experience as an HR Generalist in healthcare or human service organizations
*Strong negotiating skills, excellent communication skills
*The ability to work independently while managing multiple projects
*Comfortable in a team-oriented, hands-on environment.
