Overview

Job Profile
IMPAQ is seeking a part-time Human Resources (HR) Intern to provide administrative and paraprofessional support to the HR team. The candidate must have excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work, and excellent interpersonal skills to be able to interact successfully with team members and staff.
Responsibilities
§ Assists HR team in supporting a wide range of administrative tasks including, e.g., maintaining confidential personnel files and data entry of benefits documents;
§ Provides administrative support to aspects of recruitment activities (i.e., establishing and maintaining candidate folders, making travel and hotel arrangements, etc);
§ Supports HR team in the preparation and production of work products (e.g., spreadsheets, reports, memorandums);
§ Responds to phone calls;
§ Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
§ 2 + years of college in a related field
Skills
§ Detail- oriented, with demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;
§ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
§ Excellent interpersonal skills
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
§ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
§ Some analytical ability
