As team leader, you will have an opportunity to plan, implement and
evaluate leadership development and talent management initiatives that
are vital to the on going success of our company.

Responsibilities include: 

     1.  Serves as a team leader coordinating the activities of other 

         employees assigned on a project or task force: makes 

         assignments, monitors progress, and provides continuing 

         guidance.

 

     2.  Oversees the collection, compilation, evaluation, and

         reporting of data for a variety of assessment, training and  

         evaluation projects. 

 

     3.  Conceptualizes and presents ideas and methods for the

         research, measurement, analysis, and evaluation of individual

         potential, performance, and change resulting from education

         and training.

 

     4.  Designs and implements methods and instruments to determine

         competency, readiness, or qualifications.

 

     5.  Designs, implements, and monitors quality assurance and

         evaluation systems.

 

     6.  Conducts complex research, prepares technical reports, and

         initiates follow-up consistent with academic and professional

         standards.

 

     7.  Provides overall measurement and evaluation expertise to other

          leadership development and talent management team members.

 

     8.  Monitors and analyzes business indicator measures to ensure

         that leadership assessment and development programs are

         positively impacting the achievement of business goals and 

         objectives.

 

     9. Prepares statements of work and manages contracts with 

         leadership development, assessment and training vendors.

 

The most competitive candidate will possess: 

*         7-10 years of experience with either a government or private
sector employer

*         Experience building competency models, defining and validating
leadership   assessment tools, conducting large scale surveys and
designing and evaluating training and development programs.

*         Knowledge of all aspects of training assessment and evaluation
practices, including job analysis, test development techniques,
validation methodologies and best practices for establishing minimum
performance standards

*         Knowledge of professional and legal standards, principles and
guidelines related to   applied Industrial/Organizational Psychology,
including employee selection and training evaluation, and organizational
research and data collection protocols, sufficient to serve as an expert
witness in legal proceedings.

*         Ability to use standard social science statistical analysis
packages (e.g., SPSS) sufficient to draw appropriate conclusions from
data.

*         Strong oral, written and presentation  skills 

*         A graduate degree in Educational Psychology or
Industrial/Organizational Psychology, preferably at the doctoral level.
