Hi Tom,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you on behalf of the
Personnel Testing Council of the Metropolitan Washington Area (PTC/MW).
There is an event coming up that I believe the students in the Industrial/Organizational
Psychology graduate program might be interested in.
We have put together a networking and collaboration event that brings
together Industrial/Organizational psychologists, organizations, and
government agencies. The first part of the event is a talk by Dr.
Paul Sackett, which will be followed by a networking event. This will
be a unique opportunity for students and professionals to interact
with organizations and government agencies in the DC area to network
and discuss opportunities for jobs and research collaboration.
We have several participating organizations and agencies that will be
presenting potential job opportunities and current innovations in
practice and research. The list currently includes the following:
American Institutes for Research (AIR), Booz Allen Hamilton, C2 Technologies,
DCI Consulting, Federal Management Partners (FMP), Fors Marsh Group (FMG),
Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO), ICF International, IPAC,
National Secuity Agency (NSA), Personnel Decisions Research Institute (PDRI), SRA International, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
I have also attached a flyer that gives a brief overview of the event.
More information and event registration can be found at www.ptcmw.org.
Let me know if you have any questions. I appreciate you passing this
on to the students - thank you!
Sincerely,
Alex Alonso
