Subject: APS Convention Local Student Volunteer Opportunity

Hi Thomas,

I’m reaching out to psychology departments around the region to see if you have any students who would like to volunteer in advance of the 2013 APS Annual Convention in exchange for a complimentary registration to the convention. The goal is to provide an opportunity to attend the convention to students who otherwise would not be there.

With that in mind, to be eligible, students must not be presenting and must be available to assist with pre-convention preparations on Tuesday, May 21, 2012 from 9:30 am- 4:30 pm (possibly ending earlier if the work is completed.) APS will provide lunch for all of our local volunteers.

I’m happy to coordinate with any students who might be interested to ensure that they receive the complimentary registration.

Best,

Sara
