Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to administer policies and procedures and provide guidance in all functional areas of a corporate human resources department, which supports 4,000+ employees
in multiple states. The HR Generalist will consult and advise management and field HR representatives on various matters and work closely with other Corporate HR team members on specific initiatives. Duties and responsibilities will be based on (including
but not limited to):
Employee relations
Interpretation and application of collective bargaining agreements
Compliance with employment regulations, including FMLA, FLSA, ADAA, and EEO
Interpretation and application of policies and procedures
Administration of leave
Recruitment and hiring
Benefits administration, including health insurance, flexible spending, 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and disability
Workers compensation
HR reporting and analysis
Personnel recordkeeping
Training
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related program of study.
5+ years of HR experience in a generalist capacity. Broadcast or related media experience preferred.
Ideal candidate will be analytical, have a high level of attention to detail, and have excellent organizational and communication skills.
Solid experience with Microsoft Office is expected and Oracle HRIS experience is a plus.
Must be able to travel as required.
