Remember that your M.S. in IO qualifies for the experience requirement for State Personnel Specialist jobs.
Notice here, though, it’s a contractual position. No benefits.

Thanks, Alyssa!

Subject: SHA Opportunities for I-O Students (2 Contractual Positions - 1 full time, 1 part time)

The Classification & Compensation Division at the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is looking for I-O students to fill 2 contractual positions.

The positions are both titled “HR Business Partner/Compensation Analyst”. One of the positions is full time (~40 hours) and one is part time (~20 hours).

These two positions are the positions that Michael Micklos and myself re-designed to engage I-O employees.

These positions are great for current students looking to get ahead in gaining diverse personnel/internal consulting experience. People that fill these positions will also be invited to work with the Innovative Organizational Solutions, internal consulting group that I manage.

Please forward to UB students via IOintern.

See attachment below for more details.

Please have students contact me if they want to learn more about the positions.

Thank you kindly,

Alyssa M. Gradus
