Hello,

Updates on the engagement project:

I met yesterday with my project supervisor, and two members of the Retail HR team to discuss the metrics we were given. They gave us recommendations on which metrics would be most relevant to our study, and clarified the meaning of many of the metrics we didn't understand. It is interesting to dive (briefly) into the world of Retail metrics!

We have obviously missed our end-of-February "deadline." We are pushing to have the data analyzed and reported to management in about a week. This means that, in the next few days, I will be furiously entering and running data!

One of the issues that has come up is the confidentiality of our reporting. We want to ensure that anything that would be demoralizing or telling of a particular store/individual is not reported to management. Since Under Armour has about 40 different store locations, it is valuable to have results for each individual store, however we can't report store-level results to management for fear of singling out a certain manager/management team at that store. We have decided to anonymously group the stores into groups based on their level of engagement as a solution to this. Issues such as this have been coming into question as we continue with the project, so that we are better prepared to roll out phase 2 in the summer.

I will definitely have more updates next week!

-Erika
