Emergency Medicine Associates, P.A., P.C. is the Mid-Atlantic's leading emergency medicine provider with contracts in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia.  The company has more than 600 employees, primarily clinical staff.  Practice Management and Support Team (PMST) employees are located at the company headquarters in Germantown, MD. Compensation package includes competitive salary, health and wellness benefits, 401(k) profit sharing plan, paid time off, holiday pay, employee assistance plan, life insurance and disability insurance.

Job Description/Major Responsibilities
*           Administration of health/wellness benefit program
*           Data entry into HRIS system;  associated reporting
*           Completion of mandatory compliance reporting including OSHA, EEO and state new hires for MD and WV
*           Coordinate performance appraisal process
*           Plan, organize and conduct new hire orientation sessions
*           Coordinate recruitment and on boarding process for PMST employees
*           Organize company-wide social events and participation/sponsorship associated with hospital events
*           Coordinate participation in risk management courses for clinical staff
*           Manage workers compensation program
*           Coordinate service recognition program for PMST employees

Job Requirements
*           2 - 3 years HR experience with a strong emphasis on benefit administration
*           Thorough knowledge of employment law
*           Well organized, detail oriented  with excellent multi-tasking abilities
*           Ability to work successfully as an individual and as a team player.
*           Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications; proficiency is Crystal Reporting is preferred
*           Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve department and organizational objectives
*           Positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills
