Subject: Reminder - October Workshop: Evaluation Performance Management
Systems

Greetings PTC Members,

This is just a friendly reminder that Karen Lebing from OPM will be
providing a workshop entitled: Evaluating and Improving Performance
Management Systems. OPM has developed the Performance Appraisal
Assessment Tool (PAAT) to help agencies and OPM assess whether agency
appraisal programs are fair, credible, and transparent. The PAAT is a
self-assessment tool that requires agencies to audit their appraisal
programs, complete the PAAT, and submit it to OPM for panel review and
scoring. This workshop will provide an in-depth review of each of the 10
sections in the PAAT and will provide general results of initial scores
across the Government.

This workshop will be held this Wednesday, October 18, 2006.
Reservations can be made on PTC/MW's website at www.ptcmw.org
<http://www.ptcmw.org> . Please make your reservations before COB today
to guarantee your space.

New Member Special: Anyone currently not a PTC/MW member who attends
this workshop and who joins PTC/MW at this workshop will receive $10 off
the workshop fee.

Many thanks to Booz-Allen Hamilton who is PTC/MW's featured exhibitor
this month!

Sincerely,

David Hamill
