Small nonprofit job placement organization located in Pikesville seeking I/O
graduate student to assist with various administrative aspects of
operations.

 

Job Description

.         editing job description information in preparation for digest to
be distributed by email bi-weekly

.         provide some website support and maintenance

.         occasionally assisting Executive Director with intake interviews
with job seekers

.         accompanying Executive Director to meetings with employers to help
market the organization's services and clients

 

Requirements:

.         professional presentation and ability to maintain a posture of
discretion, confidentiality, and sensitivity

.         above average skills in editing job information (30-40 jobs
weekly) for posting in various environments including email, website, and
using social media like LinkedIn and Twitter

.         proficiency in editing and uploading web content

.         daily accessibility for remote work

.         independent source of transportation for occasional on-site work
in the Pikesville office

 

Notes: 

.         This is an unpaid internship that would receive graduate credit
for up to 10 hours of work per week.

.         Some of the work will be remote and some will be performed on site

.         This would be supervised by an Adjunct faculty member in the
Division of Applied Behavioral Sciences
