The Organizational Development (OD) Specialist provides coaching, pre-
hire and promotion assessment, evaluation and determination of
organizational structure approaches and planning to address performance
effectiveness and cultural transformation within St. 
Joseph Medical Center. The OD Specialist provides interventions such as
team formation and department effectiveness and communications for a
wide range of clinical and support areas within the medical center. 
Duties include, but are not limited to: developing curriculum and
delivering training in various areas; using a variety of instructional
methods to accommodate varied learning styles and schedules; interacting
with all levels of management and staff to assure proper training is
delivered; preparing and analyzing metrics to assure training
requirements are met; collaborating with units and departments to assess
needs, design projects, build necessary plans, methods and tools to
deliver and implement training; facilitating change, coaching staff to
support organizational alignment and coordinating medical center-wide
education.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Organizational
Development/Human Resources or Education and at least four years of
progressive experience in a healthcare setting. A Bachelor's degree and
at least seven years of progressive OD or HR experience will be
considered. Strong expertise in organizational consulting, HR strategy
development, talent and performance management, and training/OD
operations is necessary.
