HR Business Partner Opening (Owings Mills, MD)


Description: 
The Human Resources Business Partner will partner with functional business
leaders and associates within Medifast, Inc to implement key HR processes
and programs. This role is responsible for providing strategic HR support in
the areas of labor and employee relations, compliance, compensation,
training, performance management, HR analysis, process redesign,
organizational development and career development 
Responsibilities: 
. Maintains records and monitors compliance with all relevant laws and
regulations. 
. Counsels and advises managers for assigned functional areas on HR issues. 
. Assists management team in developing skills to manage human resources
effectively through modeling, coaching, instruction and training. 
. Provides day-to-day employee relation support. 
. Facilitates collaborative problem solving strategies to resolve employee
relations' issues through effective communication. 
. Assists in implementing Medifast's HR policies and procedures as well as
monitoring the Works with functional leaders to ensure that performance
reviews are done in a timely manner. 
. Participates in functional staff meetings and provides HR insights on
business issues when necessary. 
. Performs other duties as assigned. 
Qualifications: 
. Requires a bachelor's degree in industrial relations or related
discipline. Master's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. 
. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
