The MTA's Community Workforce Program is offering internships that will allow students to:

* Apply theories and concepts, learned through academic experiences in decision-making and problem-solving skills.

* Allows an intern the opportunity to interact with and learn from industry professionals while receiving on the job training and real world experience in a government agency.

* Career exploration in a corporate culture and available college credit at some institutions (semester or quarter hours).

With the beginning of a new school year, it is important to assign students to opportunities that match their future career goals. Please feel free to contact me with questions or other internship opportunities within the MTA.

Attached are the internship details. Please inform students who may be interested.
