Employee Development Manager: HR Generalist (Columbia, MD) [EriGun]

Reporting to CEO, this HR generalist position will develop and execute a people strategy for System Automation which supports the Company's business strategy and helps maintain competitive advantage for the Company through relentless attention to people management practices which make System Automation a great place to work. With responsibilities for recruitment, HR administration, development, and compensation, this position will be a key member of the management team of this growing business.

Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in business, management or HR required, Masters preferred. Professional HR Certification preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience as a generalist with working knowledge of recruitment, HRD, compensation, benefits, and employee relations required. Specific experience in recruiting IT professionals preferred.

Profile: A human resources professional with a minimum of three to five years of experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in an information technology business. Bachelors degree in business, management or human resources required, Masters degree attained or in process preferred. Professional certification through SHRM preferred. Experience as a generalist, with a working knowledge of recruitment and search, human resources development, compensation, benefits, employee relations and organization development. A person who brings a positive presence, high energy and enthusiasm for the development of people. A "team player" who wants to make a significant contribution to a growing business and can identify with the broader purpose of System Automation.

Director of HR (Washington, DC) [JenNic]

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Human Resources this role is responsible for supporting 900 employees within our Technical Field Operations and Engineering functions which are predominately Non-Exempt (Hourly) associates. This role will participate in the development of company and human resources objectives, personnel philosophy, and strategic planning in relation to personnel programs and trends in Human Resources management. This is a hands on role that will be responsible for the execution of standardization of processes, creating and defining culture, managing employee relations issues, coaching and influencing business leaders.

The ideal candidate comes from a 10 year career in human resources with an emphasis on supporting an hourly/non-exempt workforce. Individuals should have a strong generalist background and work experience within Human Resources supporting a field organization with effective skills and competencies in employee engagement, employee relations, labor relations, organizational development, performance management, talent, workforce planning, diversity, leadership development, total rewards, and communication strategies.
