Basic Purpose:
Position provides professional Human Resources Development services and internal consultation for the entire organization. The emphasis is on non-technical training, organization development, and organization effectiveness.

Multiple sites in multiple states

Pertinent Statistics:
Scope Measures: Supplies Human Resource generalist support for a group of approximately 750 employees in multiple states
Responsibility for the Work of Others: Not responsible for professional level HR employees
Budgetary Responsibility: Does not have direct budgetary responsibility
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
BS/BA in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of professional human resources development experience, preferably with some portion in a manufacturing and/or distribution-type multi-site work environment
Demonstrated proficiency in HRD and/or OD.
Working knowledge of latest developments and best practices in performance management, organization effectiveness, training and change management
Ability to travel as required by the needs of the business.
Human Resources professional accreditation and product certifications desirable
Working knowledge of ADP or similar HRIS system a plus
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or complex governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, consultants and vendors.
Stand-up presentation and facilitation skills
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Strong statistical skills

Working knowledge of and skill in interpreting and applying federal, state and local statutes and applicable rules and regulations related to the management of human resources.
Ability to travel as required by the needs of the business.
