30,000-35,000 compensation

A High-End Furniture company in the Downtown Baltimore area is looking for a Human Resource Assistant to join its team. The candidate will provide administrative support to the HR Director.


Position Summary:

Preparing and maintaining employment records.
Maintaining all garnishments, tax issues and personnel files.
Processing and maintaining any hiring-related paperwork, HR documents, charts, employee handbooks, etc.
Verifies all HR paperwork
Updates HR spreadsheets and processes paperwork.
Scheduling conferences and making reservations.
All administrative duties as assigned.
All other HR duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

To perform this position successfully, the individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of the position: Problem Solving, Interpersonal Skills, Oral and Written Communication, Quality Control, Adaptability, Dependability and Safety and Security .
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
General Knowledge of state and federal laws.
Minimum of one year of HR experience.
